Your needs as you see them are what directs your therapist. In order to help you determine your goals in therapy, the therapist may find it appropriate to start the therapeutic process with a short goals questionnaire. If therapy proceeds for more than five sessions, the goals questionnaire will be reviewed and possibly updated in order to reflect any changes in your circumstances or needs. This goal review will be repeated as necessary throughout the course of therapy, to ensure we remain on track.
